CAMBRIDGE KET – KEY ENGLISH TEST

Objective - KET requires teachers and students take an active and communicative approach to teaching and learning English, but students also need to have good pronunciation, and demonstrate a high degree of mastery and control of the vocabulary and grammar items listed in the syllabus.

 

KET is an excellent first step up the Cambridge ladder, helping you to build your confidence in English and measure your progress. You develop high-value, practical, relevant language knowledge and effective communication skills.

COURSE MATERIALS  
The course materials used in our classes are based on Cambridge guidelines to ensure that the students learn well and enjoy the classes at the same time.
LEVELS   KET is at Level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
EXAMS  

1. Reading and Writing - 1 hour 10 minutes
You will need to be able to understand simple written information such as signs, brochures, newspapers and magazines. You will also have to fill gaps in simple sentences and write a short piece of around 25 words.

 

2. Listening - 30 minutes
You need to show your ability to understand announcements and other spoken material when spoken reasonably slowly.

 

3. Speaking - 10 minutes
You will need to demonstrate you can take part in a conversation by answering and asking simple questions. Speaking tests are normally held with two candidates.

CERTIFICATES   • All Certificates will be issued by the University of Cambridge ESOL,UK
• Certificates are released approximately 2 months after the test date.
