CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACHIEVEMENT - CELA

Objective - The CELA Course helps build your passive knowledge and make your passive knowledge active. During your course you will have two teachers so that you are exposed to two different voices to listen and respond to, and learn from.

Your lessons will be topic based focusing on various issues from current events to culinary issues. Your teachers will expand on this topic helping you to increase your vocabulary, work on your grammar, improve your sentence construction and allow you to express yourself in the correct manner.

You participate in classroom discussions, work in small groups, in pairs or individually. You study topics will cover areas such as reading, writing, speaking, grammar and conversation for business, study, work or leisure environments.

COURSE MATERIALS  
The course materials used in our classes are based on LTTC guidelines to ensure that the students learn well and enjoy the classes at the same time.
LEVELS   The Certificate in English Language Achievement has 3 levels : (1) Intermediate Level (2) Upper Intermediate Level and (3) Advanced Level. Each level has a test set by LTTC and MTC, all of which are aimed at covering reading and writing, listening and speaking environment for adults.
EXAMS  

1. Mid Year Examination – Students will sit for a mid-year examinations based on the examination paper set and marked by Malaysia Training Centre. The examination will last for 2 hours.

 

2. Final Examination - Students will sit for a final examinations based on
the examination papers set and marked by London Teacher Training College, UK. The examination will last for 2 hours.

TEST PERIOD   January : April : July : October
TEST VENUE   Johor Bahru and Penang
CERTIFICATES   • All Certificates will be issued by London Teacher Training College, UK
• Certificates are issued 1 month after the exam date.
• Candidates will be informed by SMS or email for collection of certificates.
