The Singapore iPSLE is an international version of the PSLE taken by Singaporean pupils after six years of education in a primary school. It is only offered to pupils in overseas international schools that adopt a curriculum similar to the Singapore school curriculum.
ELIGIBILITY
There is no restriction on the age requirement to take iPSLE. However, pupils who intend to seek admission to Singapore secondary schools at Secondary One must be at least 12 years to 14 years of age as at 1st January of the year of admission and has completed an equivalent of Primary Six.
EXAMINATIONS
The format of iPSLE will be similar to PSLE in both the duration of papers and the item types. There are six subjects available - English Language (EL), Mathematics (MA), Science (SC), Chinese Language (CL), Malay Language (ML) and Tamil Language (TL). Pupils may sit for a maximum of 4 subjects.
